I Find What's Actually Broken. Then I Build the Fix.
Who I Am
Fourteen years in advertising, UX, and video — long enough to stop calling myself a "creative" and start calling myself what I actually do: I find the real problem in a business, and I fix it, in whatever form the fix needs to take.
The Philosophy
Most creative problems aren't creative problems. A weak ad isn't a pacing issue — the story was never clear. A clunky product isn't a UI issue — a decision never got made. I don't start with the brief. I start with what's actually broken, and I stay until the fix holds.
How I Got Here
The idea's always good in the first meeting. Then it goes through five more people, a client call, a "can we make it safer" note — and by the time it ships, you can't find the original idea in it. I watched that happen for years and called it "process." So I stopped adding people between an idea and the person who has to make it. Everything since has been built that way — one person, the whole way through.
My Perspective
A business rarely needs more creativity. It needs someone to look closely enough to see what's actually stopping people from buying — and most of the time, that's not what the client thinks it is. My job starts there, before a single frame gets shot or a pixel gets placed.
How I Work
Research
Every wrong ad, every clunky product, started with a wrong guess about who’s actually buying. I don’t guess. I find out what stops them, what convinces them, before I touch anything else.
Ideate
Once I know the buyer, I look for the angle nobody else selling this thing has used yet — the version of the idea that doesn’t sound like every other ad in the category.
Plan
Nothing gets shot or built on instinct alone. Every frame, every screen, every decision gets made on paper first — so production isn’t where the thinking happens, it’s where the thinking gets executed.
Produce
This is where it either sells or it doesn’t. I build for that outcome specifically — not for a reel, not for an award, for the number that moves when it’s done right.
Style of Work
No decks. No committee. No "we'll circle back." I go deep on one thing at a time, and I go all the way through it — strategy to execution, same hands, start to finish.
How I Solve a Client’s Problem
Some brands need a roadmap — nothing exists yet, and I build from zero: identity, product, launch. Some need an audit — something's already leaking, and I find where. Either way, the method's the same: understand the business first, choose the discipline the problem actually calls for, then execute it myself.
“I didn’t choose one thing because I ran out of ideas. I chose it because I got tired of ideas that never made anyone any money.”
